Summary: The Material Handler's responsibility is to ensure distribution activities are conducted in accordance with ISO 9001 while maintaining a safe work environment. Associates may be assigned to work in any department, as necessary, appropriate training will be conducted. Job Duties/
Responsibilities:
o Performs physical check of stock numbers and inspects cartons for damage to ensure accuracy and integrity of all loads
o Adhere to all company processes to ensure all loads have been properly processed i.e., outbound loads are braced and secured and inventory accounted for
o Perform other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by supervisor personalize., housekeeping, counting, cardboard bailing, and merchandise pick-up
o Maintain acceptable level of attendance based on company attendance policy
o Performs other duties as assigned
$10.90 per hour minimum to start
Required Skills:
o Ability to work productively and effectively when faced with stressful situations and work in a fast-paced environment
o Ability to accept responsibility for work assignments and job duties and to be held accountable for their successful completion
o Ability to work with minimal supervision and follow directions
o Apply appropriate safety procedures and equipment to protect company and customer assets, to apply appropriate use of personal protective equipment
o Ability to follow International Standards Organization 9001 process guidelines
o Ability to learn technological processes
o Ability to open to change and the ability to effectively implement change quickly
o Ability to work well with others in a team setting to deliver high performance results and convey a positive image of the company in all actions and behaviors
o Ability to accept responsibility for work assignments and job duties and to be held accountable for their successful completion
o Basic math skills
o Ability to value diversity
o Exposure to unavoidable variations in temperature, fumes, noise and dust due to warehouse conditions
o Ability to lift/carry 100 pounds or less
o Ability to push/pull 100 pounds or less

o Ability to frequently crawl, reach above shoulder, and stand frequently
